DATA-DRIVEN CYCLING

DATA-DRIVEN CYCLING

Optimize your ride
with PACER

The advanced performance insights once exclusive to runners are now available to cyclists. Just like in running, breathe anaylizing plays a crucial role in cycling performance. PACER brings precise respiratory analysis to your ride, helping you optimize training, enhance endurance, and push your limits. No lab tests, no expensive setups—just real-time, actionable data to make every ride count.

Cycling performance
Starts with Breathing

In endurance sports, breathing isn’t just about oxygen intake—it’s a key performance indicator. PACER analyzes your respiratory data in real-time to assess your VO₂max, lactate threshold, and more, while you ride. With this data, you can refine your pacing, improve endurance, and train with greater precision—maximizing every ride.

A Complete Performance Check
In just about 30 minutes

No need for expensive lab tests or exhausting trial-and-error training. PACER’s structured indoor session quickly evaluates key physiological markers, providing the insights you need to optimize training intensity, avoid overtraining, and maximize efficiency.

Performance Metrics:
VO₂max

VO₂max (Maximum Oxygen Uptake) is the maximum amount of oxygen your body can utilize during intense exercise. It is widely regarded as the gold standard for measuring aerobic fitness and endurance capacity.

A higher VO₂max indicates greater efficiency in delivering oxygen to your muscles, allowing you to sustain physical activity for longer and at higher intensities. It’s a critical metric for assessing overall cardiovascular and respiratory efficiency.

Cycling Efficiency

Cycling Efficiency refers to the amount of energy the body uses while maintaining a specific power output during a ride. In other words, it is a measure of how efficiently oxygen is converted into movement while cycling.

The higher the cycling efficiency, the less energy and oxygen are consumed at the same power output, allowing a rider to go farther or faster with the same effort. Factors influencing cycling efficiency include biomechanics, muscle efficiency, and physiological adaptations, all of which play a crucial role in optimizing performance, especially in long-distance rides.

Lactate threshold

Lactate Threshold (LT) is the intensity where lactate builds up faster than it can be cleared, marking the shift from aerobic to anaerobic effort.

LTP (Lactate Threshold Point) is the running pace at this threshold, crucial for optimizing endurance and pacing strategies during training and races. Training at your LTP helps improve performance and sustain higher intensities for longer.
